7. Computing CRC32 values

The CRC32 value is computed using the polynomial

• X^32+X^26+X^23+X^22+X^16+X^12+X^11+X^10+X^8+X^7+X^5+X^4+X^2+X^1+X^0

a start value of 0xffffffff and XORing the result with 0xffffffff (same as in ZModem and ZIP). The resulting value is printed using an 8 digit hex number with lower case letters a-f.
